Tanja Raich was born in a little village surrounded by giant mountains in a wonderful scenery. Her schoolteacher found out that her voice is something special and after singing most of the solos in the school choir and school band she moved on to study at the University of Music in Vienna and developed her vocal skills with a focus on pop and jazz. She sang many years in several ensembles and bands. When she is not teaching her students or singing in shiva or other groups you can find her in the park sitting on a bench with one of her 1001 books or on the dance- and aerobicfloor.
