Jan Wouter Brunings provides the fundament of the shiva sound. He’s a practising phonetrician and almost daily busy with the human voice and some other parts of the anatomy. He found out about his own vocal chords when he applied for the school play and sang the Dutch anthem in lack of any other song that came to his mind. That’s how his career started. When he’s not practising his profession or singing with shiva you can find him in a nice cosy restaurant somewhere in Amsterdam.
