Shiva Knows offers a variety of possibilities in the field of clinics, workshops or coaching.

Shiva Knows workshop

Several members within the group give workshops.

Vocal percussion/body percussion

• To create percussion sounds with the voice in a very interactive way and to practise these sounds by arranging them in patterns. By using body percussion we build up different grooves which are then combined and applied to create a presentation, a performance.

Voice training/ breathing technique

• Anatomical explanation of the vocal cords (our bas is phoniatrician)

• Insight into the vocal apparatus and the physiological consequences of using the voice. We offer a (mini) lecture or an interactive way of teaching.

Jazz/Pop/Improvisation

• Exercises out into practice using actual songs or pieces of music whilst focusing on pluck and pleasure.

Shiva Knows coaching

Some members of the group can coach an other group focusing on aspects as:

• blend

• rhythm

• purity of tone

• stage performance/ presentation

• singing technique

Shiva Knows clinic

A look into Shiva originating/ practising a song.

The group rehearses several songs, answering questions about making of a Shiva-song:

• purity of tone

• rhythm/groove

• blend

• stage performance

• interaction
